Last Saturday, the 10th AHK Football Tournament 2023 took place at the Łukasz Piszczek BVB Academy field in Goczałkowice-Zdrój.

This year, 36 teams participated in the games, while nearly 400 players competed fiercely for the AHK Polska (Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce) cup and the main prize – a trip to a Borussia Dortmund league match. In the B group, the invenio team challenged the representatives of Lidl Polska, HYDAC sp. z o.o., ROHLIG SUUS Logistics SA, Rödl & Partner and Festo.

On the way to the final, our representatives defeated almost all opponents (one match was tied). In the playoffs, we faced the Rhenus Office Systems Poland team. The statutory game time ended with a tie, 1:1. Unfortunately, in the penalty shoot-out invenio had to acknowledge the superiority of its opponents (2:3) and settle for silver medals once again (invenio took the second place in 2022 as well). Rohlig Suus Logistica team took the third place.

However, invenio received one prize more – Konrad Zwolenik received an honorary mention for the tournament’s MVP.
