Purchaser / SCM-Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Procurement on different material groups
  • Monitoring of dates / deadlines
  • Independent contacting of suppliers concerning problems and their solution
  • Ensure and develop processes to avoid parts out of specification / NC.
  • Optimization of storage capacity / stock level control
  • Prepare packaging and transport solutions for cost reduction.
  • Identify & deliver operational cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Negotiation of logistic agreements with transport agencies
  • Analyze and optimize the incoming logistics process, preparation of process descriptions and train involved persons on established process.
  • Coordination of logistics from the supplier

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical related field
  • Work experience in similar function
  • Advanced knowledge of MS-Office
  • Experienced with ERP-Systems in storage balancing (Knowledge of SAP system is a big benefit)
  • Good English knowledge in speaking, reading, and writing
  • Ability to work in team
  • Organizational skills are a must
