On the last Friday of January, the New Year’s Gala Meeting of Entrepreneurs of the Tychy Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce was held at the multimedia library in Tychy. As every year, it was an opportunity to sum things up, set out new plans, and express gratitude for cooperation to date.

At the beginning of the event, Honorary Gold Badges of the Polish Chamber of Commerce were awarded for activities for the development of business self-government. We are delighted to announce that Tomasz Cybok, CEO at invenio and Vice President of the Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce, was one of those honoured. The second distinction went to Mieczysław Podmokły, President of Master – Odpady i Energia Sp. z o.o. The badges were presented by Mr Tadeusz Donocik, Honorary President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce.

The distinctions of the Integrator of the Year went to the Tychy Sports Championship School for its long-standing efforts to integrate the residents of the city of Tychy around the idea of sport and to the Association for the Promotion of Athletics Tychy for organising the Tychy Half Marathon.

The main award, the Integrator of the Year 2023 statuette, was received by the Municipal Cultural Centre in Tychy for integrating residents and promoting participation in culture.
