The Tychy Regional Chamber of Industry and Commerce (RCIC) held its 25th Anniversary Gala on Friday, June 10, at the Hunting Lodge in Promnice, where businesspeople, politicians, and representatives of the local government were present.

For a quarter of a century, the RCIC has been integrating the local and regional business community. By planning economic missions, numerous study visits, trips to fairs, and working meetings with foreign partners, it has also significantly contributed to increasing the foreign cooperation of the companies in our region. Obtaining funding for the promotion of entrepreneurship, the implementation of projects to aid locals in starting their own businesses and the improvement of the skills of Silesian company employees are also significant aspects of the Chamber’s activities. More than a dozen sizable EU projects totaling more than PLN 23 million were implemented as part of its activities between 1997 and 2022.

The RCIC has organised hundreds of conferences, seminars, courses and training sessions over the years. Additionally, it arranges periodic gatherings of Chamber members to discuss current problems in various industries. Discussions and experience sharing among the various Committees – the Building, Municipal, Medical, Tychy Business Club and Sustainable Development Committee – help to facilitate this.

The Chamber is now a prestigious self-regulatory organisation with the dual goals of integrating businesses and adapting to the changing business, legal, and economic environments. This includes organising a number of significant conferences on securing EU and national funding as well as conferences on energy development. The Chamber hosted a conference on distributed energy and energy security in April of this year.

The Tychy Entrepreneurship Leader competition’s Hermes Biznesu [Business Hermes] statuettes, honouring the region’s top businesses, services, goods, entrepreneurs and notable individuals, are presented annually during the June gala. The jury chose the individuals and organisations that were honoured at the 25th anniversary gala; in other words, these were the winners who received the titles of Integrator and Hermes Biznesu of the 25th anniversary.

We are thrilled to announce that invenio won the top honour the “Debiut i Ekspansja Rynkowa” [Market Debut and Expansion] category. This is a tremendous honour for us and a recognition of our efforts. invenio was established in 1986 in Germany and debuted in Poland in 1990. But the real growth did not take place until the 21st century, when within a decade, businesses were founded in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, North Macedonia, Russia, Romania, Serbia and Slovakia.
