This year, Fabryczna 2 joined the ‘Paczuszka dla Chorego Maluszka’ (A Package for a Sick Child) campaign for the first time, organised for the Świetlikowo Children’s Hospice – a place that provides daily care for terminally ill children and support for their families.
Thanks to the enormous commitment of our employees, we managed to raise funds to purchase over 100 packs of nappies. These products are essential for the daily care of the youngest patients at the hospice and, at the same time, provide real help in meeting the current needs of this unique facility.
However, these are not the only activities we have been involved in this season. This year, the branch in Wykroty prepared Szlachetna Paczka (a Noble Parcel) for Mrs Irena – one of the families registered for the nationwide Noble Parcel campaign run by the WIOSNA Association. Szlachetna Paczka is a social programme that connects donors with families in difficult financial situations, enabling them to receive individually tailored assistance just before Christmas. Volunteers first learn about the stories of those in need, and donors prepare packages tailored to their specific needs, which allows for real support for dignity and opportunities for a better tomorrow. Ms Irena, like many families covered by Szlachetna Paczka, faces daily challenges that require not only material assistance, but also hope and social care.
Although this is the first time we have joined the ‘Package for a Sick Child’ campaign, charitable activities are an important part of the pre-Christmas period for us. Every year, we try to get involved in various aid initiatives — both locally and nationwide — to respond to the needs of those who need it most. Thanks to this, we not only provide concrete support, but also build a culture of sensitivity and solidarity among our employees and the entire community.
