During the Tychy Culture Gala 2025, an event at which the Mayor of Tychy has been presenting awards for achievements in the field of artistic creation, promotion and protection of culture since 1996, the Tychy Patron of Culture Award was presented for the first time.
This is a special category, established to honour those who support and contribute to the cultural life of the city through their activities. We are very proud to announce that invenio was the first winner of this unique award. The statuette was received by the President of the Management Board, Tomasz Cybok.
This award is a great honour for us and a symbolic confirmation of what has been part of our company’s DNA for years – social responsibility and real support for local initiatives. We believe that business can and should be part of the life of the community in which it operates, and that culture is one of its most important pillars.
The competition jury appreciated our cooperation with, among others, the Municipal Cultural Centre in Tychy and our involvement in organising numerous events that have become a permanent fixture in the city’s cultural calendar. These included outdoor screenings by Kino Freelove, the ‘Dla Tych Zagrają’ competition, the Port Pieśni Pracy and Tyski Festiwal Performance festivals, Rock na Plaży, as well as Tyskie Wieczory Kolędowe and Tyski Jarmark Bożonarodzeniowy.
The Tychy Patron of Culture Award is also of particular importance to us because it combines two worlds that are very close to our hearts – business and culture. It proves that investing in culture is not only a form of responsibility, but also a way to build lasting social relationships that strengthen the identity of the city and the region. For invenio, it is also motivation to become even more actively involved in initiatives that inspire, educate and integrate residents in the coming years.
We would like to thank all the institutions, artists and partners with whom we have had the pleasure of working. It is thanks to our joint efforts that it is possible to create such a rich and diverse cultural offer that develops and inspires the residents of Tychy.
